Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) – the nation’s largest non-profit advocacy organization for independent filmmakers based in NYC. Each year IFP helps to build an audience and promote the work of 10,000 filmmakers around the globe. In addition, it launches 350 feature and documentary films of rising filmmakers providing panels, meetings, screenings and discussions. Recently IFP organized Independent Film Week and invited to one of the panel discussions Josh Broun – a producer of leading documentaries, an owner of the company “Submarine Entertainment“and a publisher of comic book series “Creepy” and “Eerie”. The discussion is a must see for the future and present indie documentary filmmakers. The conversation answers some important questions about how to sell documentaries to distributors and agencies.
